Step 1: Transition Video
Gather Kids to the Circle

We're starting circle time with "Clap Your Hands" by The Kiboomers, which features animated motions. Little ones will enjoy following the movements or actions that accompany the lyrics.

These actions help develop fine and gross motor skills and coordination. Preschoolers will practice five actions: clap hands, pat knees, stomp feet, blink eyes, and wiggle ears.

Step 2: Main Lesson
"Hickory Dickory Dock" Video

For the main lesson, we are using "Humpty Dumpty by CoComelon. This video modified the original version of the nursery rhyme to include finding a strategy of how you can drop an egg and have it not break. Sing along and find out how! Kids will find this creative variation rhyme VERY engaging.

Step 3: Felt Board Activity
(10-15 minutes)

Use the "Humpty Dumpty" Felt Set with a felt board. Have the children engage in a felt story activity where they can use the felt pieces to retell the story.
