Step 1: Transition Video
Gather Kids to the Circle

Begin circle time with "Sit on the Mat and Clap" by KindyRock.  The beat is catchy and easy to pick up on which helps introduce tapping to the beat, listening skills, and different body parts. This song also encourages gross motor skills to start your circle time!
Step 2: Main Lesson
"Little Miss Muffet" Video

We are using  "Little Miss Muffet by  CoCoMelon.

Dealing with Fear: One of the primary lessons from this rhyme is about dealing with fear. When the spider sits down beside Miss Muffet, it startles her, and she runs away. Preschoolers can learn that it's okay to feel scared at times, and it's a natural reaction.

The rhyme can be a way to discuss how to handle or overcome fear, whether by seeking help from adults or realizing that the source of fear may not be as scary as it initially seems.
Step 3: Felt Board Activity
(10-15 minutes)
